This past winter in Idaho was one of the harshest on record which caused a lot of Grandpa's fences to be broken in a lot of different places. He is normally done with all the fencing by the time we come up in June, but he needed help this year. It was the first time I've ever gone fencing, and it was a lot of hard work for a few days. I helped Jesse on one stretch of fence and Atreyu helped Grandpa. We even had to use the backhoe to put in some new posts. There were so many beautiful wildflowers all over the top of the hill and there's always an amazing view up in the hills. I'm thankful Grandma and Cambria were able to watch the littles.
I was able to help a little with the cows but it's difficult to help very much since I still have such little kids. They had fun seeing the cows for a bit but then we headed back to the house where I made lunch for everyone, and Magnus got to have fun with some tractors.
After working the cows, we had to check one more field. I rode with Jesse on the four-wheeler and Magnus rode with Grandpa and had the time of his life.
After all the hard work, we were all able to go on a ride up in the hills. I was able to ride with Grandma, Grandpa, Jenny, and my littles in the Roxor. It was nice to go on a ride and enjoy some good conversation at the same time. Cosette and Magnus both fell asleep on the ride.It was such a nice trip working hard, playing hard, and visiting with family. We look forward to the day that we're able to move back..jpeg)
