Easter Morning

Since we were at the Browers without Jesse on Easter, the Easter Bunny visited us on Monday morning at home. Atreyu woke up so excited! Since Alco went out of business this year and all their toys were on sale, the Easter Bunny was a little more generous this year. Cambria loves her baby and Atreyu thought his Star Wars space ship and Snakeweed from Ninja Turtles were so awesome! Most of the pictures I took didn't turn out very well but a few were okay.

I am thankful that I am able to remember and focus on my Savior and his sacrifice for me at this time of year. I loved that we got to listen to conference and stories of Christ on Easter and be reminded of all he did for us. I am trying to teach my children the true reason we have Easter and Atreyu can tell me that it's because Jesus died and was resurrected but I think both the kids are still too young to really appreciate that aspect of Easter. I know my Savior lived and died for me and I know that he was resurrected on the third day and that through him, we will all be resurrected too. I love my Savior and I am trying harder to be more like him every day.
