Snakes!

Last weekend we went to Olivia Harper's house and she said we had to go see these snakes by the outlet. We drove out there and there was this pile of probably 30 snakes or so. The kids were fascinated with them and Cambria held two different snakes. She is much braver than her mommy who stayed on the opposite side of the fence. Atreyu was a bit unsure about holding one but he did pet one. Still, much braver than mommy!

Even though I am afraid of snakes, I don't want my irrational fear passed on to my children. I try to let them experience different situations even if I am not very comfortable myself. I love that Cambria is such an animal lover!
