Pumpkin Patch

A few days before Halloween we decided to go to a local pumpkin patch. Since it was so late in the season there weren't a lot of pumpkins left to choose from and many of the ones that were there had already started rotting so we just got pumpkins from Walmart. We had fun at the pumpkin patch eating ice cream and watching the goats there. There was one that would stand on top of this little house and pull up food. It was so funny and the kids loved it.

After we picked out some pumpkins at Walmart we took them home and carved (or should I say tried to carve) them. Jesse carved a cool Ultron one for Atreyu which I completely forgot to take a picture of since I was so annoyed with my inability to carve the Power Puff Girls for Cambria. I couldn't get it to work so I ended up carving her a different one with a witch cat which turned out decent. I have never had so many difficulties carving and it put a huge damper on the whole thing for me.

But I still love Halloween and the pumpkin seeds were delicious!
