Jesse's family has a reunion every two years with all the descendants of his Great-Grandpa Heber Kunz and his wife Marie. Jesse's parents and aunt were in charge of it this year. We helped prepare food and get everything set up. Jesse took the kids on a tractor-pulled wagon ride and I helped Janell and Cam with the games they had prepared for all the kids. I loved watching them play tug-of-war but their favorite game was chasing Cam and pulling all the candy off his shirt that Janell had glued on. There weren't as many kids as we expected, so the ones who were there got a lot of candy.
Janell brought this pretty frame and some fun props we used for pictures. It was so fun!
While we all played games, the rest of the adults were inside learning some of the history and genealogy of their family. I'm glad for this opportunity and that Jesse had the chance to learn more about his ancestors. There are only two of the six brothers alive today. Jesse's Great-Uncle John and Thiel.
