Our good friends that we met in Washington and spent New Years with last year came down to visit us. They were the first visitors we've had since we started traveling and I really appreciated the effort they made to visit us. We had fun eating food, going to the movies, and playing laser tag.
The best part of their visit, however, was Six Flags! We didn't tell out kids we were going until the day before. They were so excited especially since we were going with friends. Once we got there, I rode on a few of the big rides with Jesse, John, and the older kids while Sharon took the youngers around. Apparently, I can't ride rides like I used to. I started feeling sick on about the fifth ride and didn't want to do anymore the rest of the day. I went with Sharon and Cambria to the kids rides. Since it wasn't as busy and it was a cooler day, there were only a few kids rides open at a time. Cambria enjoyed the rides she went on. We walked through their mini-aquarium, bought mittens and friendship necklaces for Cambria and Jessica, but most importantly we got cups that we were able to refill with hot chocolate all day...and we did!
We met back up with everyone and Cambria was able to go on a slightly larger roller coaster called the Cobra which she loved and rode multiple times. The Woods family was so sweet and bought all the kids capes and they gave us a Christmas ornament from Six Flags. It was a fun day!
