We were so grateful we had the opportunity to go back home for Thanksgiving. We arrived to a blanket of snow. The kids put their snow clothes on first thing in the morning before heading to Grandma and Grandpa's for breakfast.
While we were there we were able to spend time with our friends. We went to John and Kristina Olson's with the Browers and Kim Kunz. I didn't get any pictures but it was so nice to be back together with our friends we love so much. There was even a huge power outage while we were there that lasted all night. Thank goodness for a good insulated house and warm blankets.
Atreyu and Cambria both got tummy bugs while we were there. Atreyu's was over before any family came and Cambria was sick the day they all arrived. She acted like she was all better the next day which was Thanksgiving. She went to sleep with the rest of the cousins on the floor. We heard her crying about an hour later and discovered that she had thrown up all over Archer and Atreyu (who slept through the whole thing). All three of them needed baths. Thankfully she was better the next day and no one else threw up the rest of the time.
We enjoyed being with all the family so much; along with all the yummy food.
Sadly, I did not get any other pictures but I am so thankful for family and friends.
